Why We Refuse These Items
Virginia law classifies these materials as hazardous waste under the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) regulations. Improper handling, transport, or disposal of hazardous waste is a violation of state and federal law and puts communities and the environment at risk.
If your load contains any prohibited items, we will refuse the pickup and a trip fee may apply. For proper disposal of hazardous materials, contact your local CVWMA facility or the Virginia DEQ.
Booking Compliance Gate
When you book online, you will be required to confirm via 5 checkboxes that your load does not contain any prohibited items. This is mandatory — your booking cannot be submitted without it.
