Refrigerant Appliances

Why the fee? Refrigerant-containing appliances require certified handling per EPA Section 608 regulations. The fee covers proper refrigerant recovery before disposal.
Photos required: You must upload 1-3 photos of each refrigerant appliance at booking. This helps us confirm condition and plan logistics.
Leaking Appliances — Refused
If an appliance is actively leaking fluids (refrigerant, oil, water from a sealed system), we will refuse pickup. Leaking refrigerant is a hazardous material and cannot be transported. A trip fee may apply if we arrive and find leaking units that were not disclosed.
Appliance Prep Checklist
- ✓Disconnect from power, gas, and water lines
- ✓Drain any remaining water (washing machines, dishwashers)
- ✓Remove propane tanks from gas grills/ranges
- ✓Stage at the curb — we do not enter homes or garages
- ✓Secure doors on refrigerators/freezers (tape or remove doors)
